SOFTSTARTUSA LIMITED WARRANTY

For SoftStartUSA consumer products sold in the United States.

1. Warrantor
This Limited Warranty is provided by NetworkRV LLC, doing business as SoftStartUSA ("NetworkRV"), 7401 Wiles Road, Coral Springs, Florida 33067, U.S.A.

2. Who Is Covered
This Limited Warranty applies only to the original retail purchaser ("Purchaser") of a covered SoftStartUSA product purchased for personal, family, or household use from NetworkRV or an authorized seller. It is not transferable. Proof of purchase showing the purchase or delivery date is required. Products purchased for resale are not covered by this Limited Warranty.

3. Warranty Periods
The applicable Warranty Period begins on the date the product is delivered to the original retail Purchaser:
• New SoftStartUSA products other than SoftStartUp: three (3) years.
• New SoftStartUp plug-and-play products: one (1) year.
• Refurbished SoftStartUSA products: one (1) year.
If acceptable proof of the delivery date is unavailable, the Warranty Period will begin on the documented retail purchase date. The Warranty Period is not extended by product registration.

4. What This Limited Warranty Covers
Subject to the terms below, NetworkRV warrants that each covered product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended use during the applicable Warranty Period. This warranty applies only to the SoftStartUSA product itself and does not warrant the performance or condition of any air conditioner, compressor, recreational vehicle, generator, electrical system, appliance, or other connected equipment.

5. NetworkRV's Obligations and Exclusive Remedies
If NetworkRV confirms that a covered product has a defect in materials or workmanship during the Warranty Period, NetworkRV will, at its option and within a reasonable time:
• repair the product without charge for covered parts and labor;
• replace the product with a new or refurbished product of the same or reasonably equivalent model; or
• refund the documented purchase price paid for the defective product, excluding taxes, installation charges, expedited shipping, and other incidental charges.
NetworkRV may require the return of the defective product before providing a remedy. Any replaced product or part becomes NetworkRV's property. A repaired or replacement product is covered for the longer of (a) the remainder of the original Warranty Period or (b) ninety (90) days after it is returned or delivered to the Purchaser.
To the extent permitted by law, the remedies stated above are the Purchaser's exclusive remedies under this Limited Warranty. Nothing in this section limits any remedy that cannot lawfully be limited.

6. How to Make a Warranty Claim
The Purchaser must notify NetworkRV of the claimed defect before the applicable Warranty Period expires. A timely claim will not be denied merely because inspection, shipping, repair, or replacement occurs after the Warranty Period expires.

The claim should include the Purchaser's name and contact information, proof of purchase, product model and serial number if applicable, and a description of the problem. NetworkRV may request photographs, diagnostic information, or reasonable troubleshooting before authorizing a return.
Do not return a product until NetworkRV provides return authorization and shipping instructions. Unless prohibited by law, the Purchaser is responsible for the cost of shipping the product to NetworkRV. If the claim is covered, NetworkRV will pay standard shipping costs to return the repaired or replacement product to an address in the United States. NetworkRV does not cover removal, diagnosis, service-call, installation, reinstallation, expedited-shipping, or third-party labor charges unless NetworkRV expressly approves them in writing before they are incurred.

7. What Is Not Covered
This Limited Warranty does not cover a failure or damage to the extent caused by:
• improper installation, wiring, setup, maintenance, storage, or removal;
• use contrary to the product instructions, specifications, warnings, ratings, or intended application;
• misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, impact, water intrusion, corrosion, fire, flood, lightning, pests, or other external causes;
• abnormal or improper voltage, current, frequency, grounding, power quality, electrical surge, generator output, or other supply condition;
• unauthorized alteration, modification, opening, repair, or use of nonapproved components, but only where the condition caused or contributed to the claimed failure;
• normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage that does not affect operation, or consumable items; or
• a defect, incompatibility, malfunction, or condition in an air conditioner, compressor, generator, recreational vehicle, electrical system, appliance, accessory, or other connected equipment.
NetworkRV does not warrant or accept responsibility for damage to connected equipment unless and to the extent such responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded. The use of third-party installation or service does not by itself void this warranty.

8. Limitation of Implied Warranties
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE APPLICABLE EXPRESS WARRANTY PERIOD STATED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NETWORKRV AND ITS COMPONENT SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF TIME, INCONVENIENCE, LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WORK STOPPAGE, TOWING, LODGING, RENTAL EQUIPMENT, OR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO A PRODUCT OR A BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY ASSERTED.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NETWORKRV'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT OR A BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY WILL NOT EXCEED THE DOCUMENTED PURCHASE PRICE PAID FOR THAT PARTICULAR PRODUCT.
Nothing in this Limited Warranty excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or reduces any nonwaivable rights or remedies available under applicable law.

10. Governing Law and Consumer Rights
This Limited Warranty is governed by applicable federal law and, to the extent not preempted, the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any forum or venue requirement applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

11. Entire Limited Warranty
This document states NetworkRV's entire written limited warranty for the covered products. No dealer, distributor, installer, employee, or other person is authorized to modify or expand this Limited Warranty on NetworkRV's behalf. A separate written commitment signed by an authorized NetworkRV officer will control only to the extent it expressly changes a provision of this Limited Warranty.
